#19 Cardinals Defeat Oilers, 3-1

The University of Findlay volley ball team was defeated 3-1 (22-25, 26-28, 26-24, and 21-25) by #19 Wheeling Jesuit on Tuesday, October 23, in Findlay. The Oilers fall to 8-14 for the 2012 campaign.

Maggie Naayers and Lindsy Reindel paced Findlay with 12 and 11 kills, respectively. Amanda Calhoun added 36 assists, 12 digs, and five blocks.

Danielle Taflinger guarded the net with seven blocks. Becca Shoemaker tallied 11 digs in the contest.

The Oilers travel to Tiffin on Friday, October 26, for a 7 p.m. GLIAC match against the Dragons.
