Findlay, Ohio- The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has announced its 2025 Women's Volleyball Midwest All-Region teams, and University of Findlay seniors,
Makenna Belcher and
Emma White all earned a spot on the first team.
Makenna Belcher, a first team all-conference selection, stepped in as a dynamic and consistent force for Findlay. She recorded 428 kills—an average of 4.00 per set, the fourth-highest mark in the region—while hitting .271 and adding 2.42 digs per set. Belcher also delivered a career-high 28 kills in the NCAA Midwest Regional Quarterfinal against Wayne State on Dec. 4, along with a season-best 19 digs in the match.
Emma White, the Great Midwest Player of the Year, orchestrated the offense throughout the season, averaging 11.93 assists per set, which ranked third nationally. She totaled 1,276 assists, placing her ninth in the country. White surpassed 5,000 career assists in the Great Midwest Semifinal, becoming just the third player in program history to reach the milestone. The Tiffin, Ohio, native recorded 15 double-doubles (assists and digs) on the year and was a threat at the service line, averaging 0.49 aces per set. Defensively, she provided steady production with 2.73 digs per set and 292 on the season, making her a complete presence on the court. She finished her career with 5,139 assists, ranking third all-time, and 195 service aces, which rank fourth in program history.
