Greenwood, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its' selections for the 2025 Academic All-America Volleyball Teams on Wednesday, Jan. 14 and University of Findlay players
Makenna Belcher and
Emma White were each named.
Emma White, a senior from Tiffin, Ohio, was named first team academic all-American for her performance this season. The 2025 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Player of the Year maintained a 3.99 cumulative GPA while majoring in primary education and is one of just eight players in the country to be named to the first team.
Makenna Belcher, a graduate student from Marengo, Ohio, earned second team academic all-American after a year in which she earned all-American honors from the AVCA. Belcher held a 4.0 GPA in occupational therapy.
The Division II team had a 3.96 cumulative GPA with 12 team members maintaining a 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate and/or graduate studies. The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
