The University of Findlay volleyball team had their season come to a close on Wednesday, Nov. 14 in Midland, Michigan as top-seeded Northwood University defeated the Oilers by a score of 3-1 (10-25, 25-23, 13-25, 25-27) in the opening round of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament.

The Oilers, who end the season with a 14-17 record, received 11 kills from Lindsy Reindel and eight more from Samantha Granger.

Maggie Naayers chipped in seven kills while Amanda Calhoun tallied 32 assists.

Becca Shoemaker led the defense with 13 digs and Jacqui Endre recorded 11.
