Oilers Defeat Storm, 3-0

The University of Findlay volleyball team swept Lake Erie College 3-0 (26-24, 25-20, 25-16) on Saturday, September 15, in Findlay. The Oilers move to 4-5 on the year.

Mackenzie Vorst and Danielle Taflinger let the offense with 12 and 10 kills, respectively. Amanda Calhoun had 33 assists in the contest.

Freshman Becca Shoemaker generated 10 digs while Tafflinger recorded two solo blocks.

The Oilers return to action on Tuesday, September 18, at Wayne State University. The match is slated for 7 p.m.
