The University of Findlay volleyball team was defeated 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-12) by California University of Pennisylvania on Friday, September 7, in Findlay. The Oilers fall to 3-2 on the season.

Andrea Holthaus and Mackenzie Vorst each had six kills while teammate Amanda Calhoun produced 19 assists.

Danielle Taflinger, Vorst, and Holthaus generated five blocks each. Jacqui Endre had 11 digs in the contest.

The Oilers will be back in action on Saturday, September 8 for day two of the Findlay Fall Classic. Findlay will face Wheeling Jesuit (11 AM) and the University of Indianapolis (6:30 PM).
