The University of Findlay volleyball team earned a 3-1 (25-18, 25-19, 21-25, 25-12) win against Indiana (Pa.) on Saturday, Sept. 14 in Croy Gymnasium.

The Oilers hit .254 as a team and were led offensively by sophomore Julie Lyons, who recorded 13 kills, four aces and three blocks.

Senior Danielle Taflinger added nine kills, hitting .529 for the match, while junior Lindsy Reindel contributed seven kills in the victory.

Junior Amanda Calhoun paced the offense with 41 assists and four kills while junior Samantha Granger and sophomore Becca Shoemaker led the defense with 11 kills each.

The Oilers will conclude the TownePlace Suites Classic tonight at 7 p.m. against Mercyhurst.
