Oilers Dominate Tournament Host Nova Southeastern

The University of Findlay volleyball team won in dominating fashion with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-8, 25-18) win over tournament host Nova Southeastern University on September 7, 2013 in the Shark Classic held in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Senior Danielle Taflinger was the offensive key for the Oilers, accumulating eight kills in the straight sets win. Senior Mackenzie Vorst, sophomore Julie Lyons, and junior Lindsy Reindel each contributed six kills.

Junior Amanda Calhoun aided the offense with 20 assists.

On the defensive side of the net, senior Jaqui Endre was key, collecting ten digs.

With the win, the Oilers improved to 3-0 on the young season and are looking to close out a perfect trip in their final game of the Shark Classic at 4:30 p.m. today versus Rollins College.
