The University of Findlay men's and women's track and field team hit the road to Columbus for the Jesse Owens Track Classic held at The Ohio State University. Day 1 competition was on Friday, April 18th and Day 2 will be Saturday, April 19th.
Men
Junior Justin Welch competed in the discus throw and took third place with an NCAA provisional qualifying throw of 170'06".
In the 1500 run, senior Justin Eilerman took 22nd with a time of 3:54.19, narrowly missing the provisional mark set by the NCAA.
