The University of Findlay women's soccer team played 10th-ranked Grand Valley State Friday, Sep. 18 at 7pm in Grand Valley, Michigan. The Oilers suffered a 6-0 loss to the Lakers. This loss takes the Oilers record to 1-3-1 in the season.
The Oilers fought a physical game against the Lakers with a foul ratio of 10:11 for the game. The UF women's defense attempted to stay strong against the 13 shots Grand Valley delivered on goal. Sophomore goal keeper Bre Parrish took the loss in goal but made a respectable 7 saves for the defense.
The lady Oilers play next on Sunday, Sep. 20 at 3pm at DeHaven field against the Malone University Pioneers.
