Indianapolis, Ind. - Fifth-year goalkeeper Cat Graves has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Defensive Athlete of the Week, the league announced Monday, October 5. In their lone game of the week, the Oilers traveled to Ashland to take on the No. 6-ranked Eagles. Led by Graves, Findlay secured a 1-0 victory, handing Ashland its first conference loss since 2022.
Graves was locked in between the pipes, recording six saves on six shots on goal from the Eagles. Her biggest save of the night came with 18 minutes remaining in the contest, when Graves turned away a potential game-tying penalty kick to preserve the Oilers' 1-0 lead.
