The University of Findlay volleyball team defeated Urbana University with a 3-0 (25-18, 29-27, 25-17) sweep on October 18 in Croy Gymnasium The win brings the Oilers' season record to 18-4 while their conference record remains 9-1.

The Oilers were led by junior Amanda Winner who recorded 12 kills and nine digs. Sophomore Shelby Kin, sophomore Molly Hammersmith, and sophomore Izzy Murphy added seven kills each, while freshman Madison Moore contributed six.

Junior Hailee Olson recorded 38 assists in the win.

Junior Kara Scherger led the team defensively with 13 digs, while senior Megan Wendel recorded 11.

The Oilers are back in action against Malone University in Canton, Ohio on Friday, October 20 at 7:00pm.
