The University of Findlay volleyball team defeated Ohio Dominican 3-1 (22-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-17) today, October 27, in Columbus, Ohio. This will bring Findlay's season record to 21-4 and their conference record to 12-1.

Findlay hit .367 as a team and were led by junior Amanda Winner who hit .395 by recording 18 kills. Sophomore Molly Hammersmith recorded 10 kills in the win, while sophomore Shelby Kin added eight.

Junior Hailee Olson had a great match recording 40 assists for the Oilers, and leading the team defensively with 14 digs. Olson also recorded five aces and three kills.

Junior Kara Scherger contributed 10 digs, while senior Megan Wendel added nine.

The Oilers will be back in action October 28 in Cedarville, Ohio where they will play in their second conference match against Cedarville University at 1:00pm.
