The University of Findlay volleyball team received their first conference loss to Lake Erie College 3-1 (25-19, 25-8, 10-25, 27-25) today October 6 in Painesville, Ohio. This brings their season record to 15-2, and makes them 8-1 in the Greater Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

Sophomore Shelby Kin led the Oilers with nine kills, while sophomore Ally Duncan added eight kills and junior Amanda Winner contributed seven.

Junior Hailee Olsen recorded 36 assists and seven digs this week for Findlay.

Defensively, junior Kara Scherger had 27 digs, while Duncan had 10 digs and Winner added seven.

The Oilers next match will be October 7 at 1:00pm vs. Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
