The University of Findlay volleyball team defeated Lake Erie College 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-20), on November 17, in Hillsdale, Mich. at the 2017 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Semifinal. This will bring Findlay's season record to 27-5 and their G-MAC record to 15-2.

The Oilers were led by junior Amanda who recorded 19 kills and hit .300 to defeat the Storm. Sophomore Izzy Murphy recorded 11 kills, while sophomore Shelby Kin contributed eight.

Junior Hailee Olson had 44 assists and six digs in the win.

Junior Kara Scherger led the team defensively receiving 18 digs, while senior Megan Wendel recorded 13 digs, and sophomore Ally Duncan added 11.

The Oilers will move on to the 2017 G-MAC Final at 4:00pm on November 18 in Hillsdale, Mich.
