The University of Findlay volleyball team defeated Ursuline College 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-21) on Sep. 15 in Pepper Pike, Ohio. The win brings the Oilers' record to 9-2 on the season and 4-1 in conference play.

The Oilers hit .388 as a team and were led by junior Izzy Murphy who hit for .417 by recording 14 kills. Junior Molly Hammersmith recorded eight kills for Findlay, while junior Jenna Delarber added six. Senior Amanda Winner recorded five kills as well as five aces against the Arrows.

Senior Hailee Olson recorded 35 assists in the win.

Defensively, senior Kara Scherger led the team by receiving 9 digs, while Winner contributed seven digs and junior Ally Duncan added six.

The Oilers will be back in action in Croy Gymnasium against Davis & Elkins on Sep. 21 at 7:00pm.
