The University of Findlay volleyball team defeated Walsh University today 3-0 (25-10, 25-22, 25-20) on Sep. 25 in North Canton, Ohio. The victory brings the Oilers' record to 12-2 on the season and 7-1 in conference play.

The Oilers hit .337 as a team and were led by junior Amanda Winner and junior Molly Hammersmith who both recorded nine kills against the Cavaliers.  Junior Shelby Kin recorded eight kills for Findlay, while junior Izzy Murphy and sophomore Madison Moore each contributed four.

Senior Hailee Olson recorded 32 assists and eight digs in the win.

Senior Kara Scherger led the team defensively by receiving 10 digs, while junior Ally Duncan recorded seven digs and Winner and sophomore Olivia Morrison each received five.

The Oilers will be back on the road in Tiffin, Ohio where they will face Tiffin University on Sep. 28 at 7:00pm.
