The University of Findlay volleyball team came away with a 3-0 win over Lake Erie College on Sep. 7 in Painesville, Ohio. The victory gives the Oilers a 7-1 record on the year with a 2-0 mark in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

Senior Amanda Winner led the Oilers hitting for .326 by recording 18 kills. Junior Shelby Kin contributed 10 kills, while junior Izzy Murphy added nine.

Senior Hailee Olson had 43 assists in the match, as well as eight digs.

Defensively, senior Kara Scherger lead the team with 26 digs. Junior Ally Duncan recorded 12 digs, while sophomore Olivia Morrsion added eight.

The Oilers are back in action September 10 in Findlay, Ohio where they will face Ohio Dominican at 7pm.
