Box Score Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay men's soccer team hosted visiting Trevecca Nazarene Trojans this Thursday, Oct. 5 at DeHaven Soccer Complex.
The first half saw little action for either team. Less than a minute into the second half, freshman
Carson Oberski scored the lone goal of the game off of an assist from junior
Maciej Gaszynski making the score 1-0 for the Oilers.

Christian Palushaj had two shots during play. Senior

Ryan Dickinson, and Gaszynski each had one shot. Both teams were given yellow cards during play, senior
Edan Lisseman-Stones received one for the Oilers while the Trevecca Coach was given one for unsporting behavior.
TNU outshot UF 16-7 but the Oilers out-saved the Trojans 6-3. Senior goalkeeper
Andrew Boulton made a total of six saves during play ensuring the Oilers the victory.
With this win the Oilers record advances to 4-3-3 on the season and 2-4-1 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play while Trevecca's record moves to 4-3-3 and 2-3-2 in the G-MAC.
The Oilers are back in action when they face Walsh Saturday, Oct. 7 at 4pm at the DeHaven Soccer Complex.
