The University of Findlay women's soccer team has earned a trip to the 2023 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Women's Soccer Championship for the fifth consecutive season and will enter the tournament as the fourth seed. The eight-seed tournament begins on Saturday, Nov. 4 with three quarterfinal matchups. Five days later, the tournament will move to the highest remaining seed's site.
Findlay's quarterfinal game will be played Saturday at 1:00pm EST and pits the Oilers against the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans out of Nashville, Tenn. The two teams have met eight times since Findlay first joined the G-MAC in 2017. In those eight matchups, the Oilers have not lost to the Trojans, posting a 5-0-3 record. Just 28 days ago the two teams met in Findlay, a game that the Oilers won by a score of 3-1. In the eight games combined, Findlay is outscoring Trevecca Nazarene 19-8.

Findlay Oilers (10-4-4, 10-2-2 G-MAC) | #4 Seed
2023 Findlay Soccer Coaching Staff
The Oilers are 10-4-4 on the season and have a 10-2-2 record in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play. Findlay had a tough start to the season, not winning their first contest until mid September. Down the stretch, however, games started to go the other way as the Orange and Black entered conference play, going on a nine game win streak. The Oilers have proven to be a dangerous team as they have remained unbeaten against #2 Ashland, the second seed in the tournament.
Findlay enters the tournament scoring 1.611 goals per game, fifth-best in the conference, but has a save percentage of .803 which ranks fourth in the conference. Senior Hannah Rybicki is leading goal scorer for the Orange and Black, recording nine goals this season, averaging .500 goals per game. Senior Madison Mlsna and sophomore Sydney Noble each have five goals scored this season while sophomore Payton Miller has three. Notably, six other Oilers have contributed goals, leading to a balanced offensive effort.
In goal, senior Kennedy Slovak has almost 1,500 minutes played in eighteen games, recording 40 saves. She has five shutouts to her credit.

The Trojans enter the tournament with a 6-6-5 record on the season with a 6-3-5 mark in conference play. They had a tough start to the season, dropping their first three games. However, they went on a 5-1-1 run, in a 21-day stretch midway through the season.
Trevecca enters the tournament averaging 1.294 goals per contest, the seventh best in the conference. Junior Katelyn Keogh leads their offense, recording a team-high six goals this season. Senior Grace Oliver has four goals to her name. Most notably, ten different Trojans have found the back of the net this year. In goal for Trevecca, is sophomore Bailie Fiore. She has allowed eighteen goals in seventeen games, recording a save percentage of .802.
