Gainesville, Ga.- The University of Findlay men's golf team concluded the UNG Mizuno Intercollegiate today, Sep. 19. The two-day, 54-hole tournament was hosted at Chattahoochee Golf Club. The field boasted some of the top talent in Division II golf including #3 West Florida, #5 Lee, #6 North Georgia, #9 Anderson (SC), #11 Lincoln Memorial and #16 Carson-Newman.

Findlay finished sixteenth in the eighteen team field. They recorded rounds of 299 (+11), 299 (+11), and 298 (+10) for a 54-hole total of 896 (+32). Lincoln Memorial won the tournament with a 54-hole score of 837 (-27).

Leading the Oilers was sophomore Luke Metzger. The Mason, Ohio native recorded rounds of 74 (+2), 72 (E), and 75 (+3). His 54-hole score of 221 (+5) left him in a tie for 41st.
