Farmington, Pa.- The University of Findlay men's golf team is playing host to the Intercollegiate at Nemacolin which is being held on the grounds of Nemacolin Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. The 54-hole event, taking place on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 21-22, is being played at Mystic Rock Golf Course and is playing at 7,118 for the men. As the day progressed, players couldn't complete all 36 holes before darkness set in, forcing play to stop early. Currently, the Oilers sit in fourth place in the nine-team event at four-over. Findlay posted an opening round 292 (+4) and are currently even through 13 holes of the second round.
Sophomore Colin Schadek, who recorded a top-five finish at the event last season, once again leads the way for Findlay at three-under par. The Liberty Township, Ohio native fired a 69 (-3) and is even through 14 holes of the second round. He is currently sitting in a tie for third place.
Junior Luke Metzger and sophomore Tyler Brockwell are just inside the top-15. The pair is at one-over par and currently tied for 13th. Metzger shot an opening round of 72 (E) while Brockwell carded a 73 (+1).

The Oilers will continue round two tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 9am, followed by the start of round three.
