#4 Oilers Lead Findianapolis Intercollegiate

Laconia, Ind.- The University of Findlay women's golf team concluded day one of the Findianapolis Intercollegiate, Monday, April 1, which they are co-hosting with the University of Indianapolis. The 54-hole event is taking place at the 6,107 yard, par-72, Chariot Run Golf Club. Findlay is leading through 36-holes after recording rounds of 291 (+3) and 289 (+1) for a 36-hole score of 580 (+4). The fourth-ranked Oilers hold a five shot lead over the sixth-ranked Greyhounds.

Leading the Oilers are senior Gabby Woods and junior Mary Kelly Mulcahy. They both concluded the day at four-under par and are tied for first, three ahead of Indianapolis' Alice Webb. Woods carded rounds of 69 (-3) and 71 (-1) while M.K. Mulcahy recorded rounds of 72 (E) and 68 (-4). The duo recorded 36-holes scores of 14- (-4) which is the second best 36-hole score in program history.

Sophomore Hayley Dye is in seventh after rounds of 73 (+1) and 75 (+3) for a 36-hole score of 148 (+4). Junior Erin Mulcahy is also in the top-ten as she is in a tie for ninth. She carded rounds of 77 (+5) and 75 (+3) for a 36-hole total of 152 (+8).
