Findlay Concludes Pacific Coast Invitational

Long Beach, Calif.- The University of Findlay men's and women's track and field team traveled west for the Pacific Coast Invite hosted by Long Beach State University. The Invite is a one-day event that features athletes across all NCAA divisions with nearly 65 athletes per event. 
 
Top Results Men- 
  • Jordan Foster (SR) finished third in the 1500m run with a time of 3:56.04 meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard. 
  • Orry Willems (SR) took fifth place in the hammer throw with a mark of 64.34m, meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard. 
  • Gabe Clement (JR) finished fourteenth in the javelin throw with a throw of 52.62m 
  • Chris Campbell (JR) took thirteenth in the long jump with a mark of 7.23m. 
  • Trey Boblitt (SO) took fifth in high jump with a mark of 2.01m .Alex Mutchler (SR) tied for eleventh in pole vault with a mark of 5.01m meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard. 
  • Omari Welch-Guytan (JR) finished thirteenth in the triple jump with a mark of 14.25m. 
  • Alex Mutchler (SR) came in eleventh in the pole vault with a mark of 5.01m.

  • Hailey Wilson (SR) finished fifth in the 1500m run with a time of 4:38.26 
  • Trista Fintel (JR) took sixth in the shot put with a mark of 15.23m meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard. 
  • Victoria Harvey (FR) came in ninth in the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.91m. 
 
The Oilers will be back in action as they continue their west coast stint with the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Beach Invitational on April 12th.
