Columbus, Ohio/ Ada, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's and women's track and field team split up to compete in day two of the Jesse Owens Classic hosted by the Ohio State University and the Mike Becraft Invitational hosted by Ohio Northern University. After a long cold day of competition, the Oilers had several top finishes. 

Jesse Owens Classic 

Top Results Men- 

• Eliot Cummings (SR) finished fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 14.21m. Mondra Curry (JR) took fifth with a mark of 14.03m 

• Alex Mutchler (SR) finished third in pole vault with a mark of 5.03m meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard 

• Xavier Marable (GR) took seventh in the 400m dash with a time of 48.87 

Top Results Women- 

• Trista Fintel (JR) finished seventh in the shot put with a mark of 13.68m 

•  Katelyn Heath (SO) finished seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 11.09m.  

• Lindsey Kluesener (GR) finished fourth in pole vault with a mark of 3.98m. Victoria Harvey (FR) took sixth with a mark of 3.88m. Both Kluesener and Harvey met the NCAA Provisional Standard 

• Ashley Sigmon (SO) finished seventh in high jump with a height of 1.60m  

• The 4x100m relay team consisting of Leah Smith (FR), Taylor Ivory (JR), Kylie Ray (SR), and Jordan Taylor (SR) took second place with a time of 46.02 meeting the NCAA Provisional Standard 

• Jordan Taylor (SR) finished third in the 100m dash with a time of 11.68. Leah Smith (FR) took fifth with a time of 11.71. Both Taylor and Smith met the NCAA Provisional Standard 

• Sydney Swan (SO) took fifth in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:31.52 

Mike Becraft Invitational  

Top Results Men- 

• Dylan Hickey (JR) finished fifth in the 1500m run with a time of 4:14.70 

• Dylan Reason (JR) won the 400m dash with a time of 50.45. Hassan Sesay (SR) finished second with a time of 50.7, Nolan Ellis (FR) took fourth with a time of 51.04, and Joe Sadowski (SR) finished fifth with a time of 51.14 

• Aaron Keyt (SO) took second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 57.44 

• Hassan Sesay (SR) finished fourth in the 200m dash with a time of 22.28 

• Noah Fisher (SR) won the 5000m run with a time of 14:46.03 setting a new meet record. Jaxen Durfey (FR) took second with a time of 15:24.52, Connor Hill (JR) finished third with a time of 15:28.19, and Zac Britton (JR) finished fifth with a time of 15:37.14 

Top Results Women- 

• Kjerstin Scott (SO) finished third in the long jump with a mark of 4.63m 

• Maddie Alexander (SR) finished fourth in high jump with a height of 1.50m. Alexander also finished fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 10.13m 

• Ava Kiefer (SO) finished fifth in the discus throw with a mark of 38.04m 

• Amelia Mizelle (SO) won the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.16 

• Hannah Rybicki (SR) won the 100m dash with a time of 12.69. Emma Makin (FR) took second with a time of 12.74 

• Olivia Fenbert (FR) won the 400m dash with a time of 1:02.65 

• Anna Heren (FR) won the 800m run with a time of 2:22.20 

• Anna Kluesener (JR) finished second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:09.76 

• Hannah Rybicki (SR) won the 200m dash with a time of 25.94. Nicole Fishpaw (JR) finished second with a time of 26.68, Emma Makin (FR) took third with a time of 26.69, and Kjerstin Scott (SO) finished fourth with a time of 27.51 

• Bella Treglia (SO) finished third in the 5000m run with a time of 19:21.48. Tessa Fine (FR) took fourth with a time of 19:40.90, and Claire Bachman (SO) finished fifth with a time of 19:43.39 

The Oilers will be back in action Thursday April 25 as they travel to North Canton, Ohio to compete in the Walsh University Tune-Up
