Noblesville, Ind.- The University of Findlay men's golf team completed round two of the Ken Partridge Invitational hosted by the University of Indianapolis Monday, April 8. The 54-hole, three day event, is being held at the 7,097 yard, par 72, Purgatory Golf Club. The event features some of the top-talent in the region including nationally ranked Grand Valley State and nine of the top-ten teams in the midwest region. Findlay is currently seventh after an opening of 305 (+17) followed by a round of 296 (+8) today.
Leading the Oilers is sophomore
Luke Metzger. The Mason, Ohio native is tied for eleventh at two-over par. He carded a round of 71 (-1) today after an opening round 75 (+3). He trails the leader, Maverick Conaway (UIndy) by eight strokes.
Sophomore
Zach Miller recorded a 75 (+3) on the day to match his 75 (+3) yesterday. He is six-over par for the tournament, leaving him in a tie for 24th.
The Oilers will be back in action for the final round Tuesday, April 9. They will tee off starting at 9am.
