Emporia, Kan.- On Friday, May 24, the University of Findlay men's and women's track and field teams competed on the second day of the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championship at Francis G. Welch Stadium, located on the Emporia State University campus in Emporia, Kansas.

Day Two Final Results
- Trista Fintel (Jr.)- Finished 20th in the discus with a mark of 43.04m. 

Day Two Preliminary Results
- Josh Verhoff (Sr.)- Qualifying for the finals, Verhoff finished seventh in the 200m dash preliminaries with a time of 20.83.
- Jordan Taylor (Sr.)- Unable to qualify for tomorrow's finals in the 200m dash, Taylor finished 16th with a time of 23.85.
- Kylie Ray (Sr.), Jordan Taylor (Sr.), Mary Ellis (Fr.), Taylor Ivory (Sr.)- The 4x400 relay team qualified for tomorrow's final with a program record time of 3:39.94. They will be seeded seventh in the finals tomorrow.

The women's squad is in tenth after the completion of eight events. Meanwhile, the men are in seventeenth in with seven events scored. They will be back in action tomrrow, Saturday, March 25 for the third and final day of competition.
