Allendale, Mich.- The University of Findlay women's golf team completed day one of the Folds of Honor Challenge, Sunday, Sep. 15 at the Meadows at Grand Valley State University. The Folds of Honor, the Golf Coaches Association of America, and Grand Valley State University partnered to host the tournament that is serving as a qualifying opportunity for the 2025 Folds of Honor Intercollegiate. The winning school will receive an invitation to compete at the 2025 Folds of Honor Intercollegiate held at American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Mich.
The Oilers finished day one with a 18-hole score of 306 (+22). They are currently in second place, three strokes behind Grand Valley State.
Senior Mary Kelly Mulcahy led the way for the Orange and Black, recording a 74 (+2). She is in second, one stroke behind the leader.
Findlay will continue with round two, tomorrow before concluding the tournament on Tuesday, Sep. 17.
