Gainesville, Ga. - The University of Findlay men's golf team headed south for the
Mizuno Intercollegiate at Chattahoochee Golf Club which ran Monday, Sep. 23 through Tuesday, Sep. 24. The two day, 54-hole event featured nine nationally ranked teams including #2 North Georgia, #4 West Florida, #6 Lincoln Memorial, #10 Lee, #12 USC Aiken, #18 Lander, #19 Columbus State, and #24 Barton.
Findlay finished the tournament in thirteenth place recording rounds of 296 (+8), 297 (+9), and 293 (+5) for a 54-hole total of 886 (+22). The tenth ranked Flames of Lee University won the event with a 54-hole score of 834 (-30) which included a third round 271 (-17).
Leading the Oilers was sophomore
Colin Schadek who finished the event an even-par. His rounds of 74 (+2), 72 (E), and 70 (-2) left his in a tie for 33rd.
Freshman
Cahle Roth finished 42nd at two-over par carding rounds of 70 (-2), 74 (+2), and 74 (+2).

The Oilers will be back in action Oct. 7- Oct. 8 as they travel to Tiffin, Ohio for the Kyle Ryman Memorial at Mohawk Country Club.Â
