Phoenix, Ariz. – The University of Findlay women's golf team, ranked second in the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) poll, wrapped up play at the GCU Women's Invitational, hosted by Division I Grand Canyon University.
After two days and 54 holes of competition, the Oilers finished the event in fourth place behind host, Grand Canyon, California-Irvine, and Montana State. UF fired a final round 299 (+11) to finish with a three-round score of 882 (+18).
Senior
Mary Kelly Mulcahy, the reigning Division II Player of the Year, was Findlay's top finisher and earned all-tournament honors with a T4 finish. She birdied her final hole of the tournament to shoot 73 (+1) on Wednesday, turning in a 54-hole score of 215 (-1), tied for eighth-best in program history.
Findlay also got a top-ten finish from junior
Hayley Dye who also birdied her final hole to shoot a final round 73 (+1). She finished the event in a tie for eighth with a 217 (+1).

The Oilers are back in action on Monday and Tuesday, March 17-18 when they host the Findlay Spring Invite which is played at Boone's Trace National Golf Club in Richmond, Kentucky.
