Indianapolis, Ind. - The NCAA announced its' selections for participation in the 2025 Division II Indoor Track and Field Championship on Tuesday, March 4. The University of Findlay women's track and field team, ranked 13
th in Division II, will send nine athletes while the men, ranked 23
rd in the country, will send eight.
Findlay's top event is the women's 4x400m relay where the Oilers enter with the top time in the country, a 3:38.21 run by
Mary Ellis,
Leah Smith,
Jordan Taylor, and
Kylie Ray at last week's G-MAC Indoor Championship. Smith and Taylor each have top-15 times in both the 60m dash and 200m dash, the best of which is Taylor's time of 23.64 in the 200m which ranks third in the country.
Kylie Ray has the 16
th fastest time in the 400m, as well, and will run as a member of the distance medley relay team which ranks 14
th.
Leyton Nossa is the top performer on the men's side this year, heading into the weight throw ranked fourth in the country with a mark of 20.56m. The Oilers have another top-ten mark as
Kage Hefner makes his national championship debut ranked ninth in the pole vault.

th.
Competition will take place in Indianapolis, Ind. at the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion on March 13-15.
