Springboro, Ohio- The University of Findlay men's golf team wrapped up play at the Wright State Invitational on Monday, April 14. Competing in a 12-team Division I field, the Oilers placed fourth with a three-round total of 850 (-2), following rounds of 284 (E), 280 (-4), and 286 (+2). Findlay finished 23 strokes behind host Wright State University. The tournament took place at Heatherwoode Golf Club, a par-71 course playing at 6,754 yards.
Findlay was led by freshman
Cahle Roth and sophomore
Luke Metzger, who both tied for seventh at four-under par. Roth fired a program-record 64 (-7) in the second round, following an opening 74 (+2) and closing with a 73 (+1), earning his third top-10 finish of the season. Metzger turned in rounds of 68 (-3), 73 (+1), and 71 (-1) to join Roth in the top-ten.

Findlay will be back in action Monday, April 21 for postseason play at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship. That event will take place in Florence, Ind. at Belterra Golf Club.
