Ashland, Ohio – The University of Findlay track and field teams sent a small pod of athletes to Ashland, Ohio for the Jud Logan Light Giver Invitational on Friday, Feb. 6.
Notable Results
Men
- In the weight throw elite competition, Leyton Nossa (Jr.) won and set a new personal-best with a throw of 21.01m that is and NCAA provisional mark and fifth-best in DII this year. He remains fifth on Findlay's all-time weight throw list.
- Keyan Holston (So.) was a third place finisher in the weight throw, recording a makr of 15.94m.
Women
- Ava Kiefer (Sr.) took ninth in the weight throw where she took ninth, with a throw of 13.15m, in a field of more than 40 competitors. Brenna McDonald (Fr.) was also in the competition and finished 13th with a 12.39m toss.
The second and final day of competition will take place tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 7.
