Findlay Leads Presidents' Cup Race Through Winter Season

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) has released the second of three sets of standings in the chase for the 2025-26 G-MAC Presidents' Cup which is awarded every year to the institution in the conference with the most outstanding performance across all sports. Findlay, which has won six Presidents' Cups including the previous two, is in first place through the winter season.

Findlay leads with 107.5 points, 6 points ahead of Ashland which in second. Last year the Oilers won the cup by 12.5 points over Ashland and, through the winter season, held a lead of just 5.5 points.

Points are determined based on a program's finish in the G-MAC regular season standings with the amount of points given based on the number of teams in the league in that sport. Findlay's big earners in the winter came from both men's and women's swimming and diving teams which earned conference titles and wrestling and both men's and women's track & field teams which all finished third.

None of Findlay's teams thus far, fall or winter, have finished lower than fifth in any conference standings.
