Indianapolis, Ind. – Sophomore Zanri Black earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Athlete of the Week honors, the league announced Monday, April 13, following her standout performance at the Tennessee Invite.
The Port Elizabeth, South Africa native placed second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.73, marking the 12th-fastest time in Division II this season and meeting the NCAA provisional standard. She also helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a runner-up finish, as the squad posted a time of 3:40.50, currently third-fastest in Division II this season and another NCAA provisional mark.
