Hillsdale, Mich. - The University of Findlay track and field teams opened competition at the 2026 Gina Relays on Thursday, April 16. The three-day meet, hosted by Hillsdale College, kicked off its first day with a focus on the distance events, where the Oilers competed in the men's and women's 5000m open and championship flights.

- Ella Webster (So.) placed 2nd in the women's 5000m (Open) with a time of 18:30.20, scoring 8 points.
- Olivia Fenbert (Jr.) finished 4th in the women's 5000m (Championship) with a time of 17:36.30, adding 5 points.
