Charlottesville, Va. - The University of Findlay track and field teams competed on Saturday, April 18, highlighted by action at the University of Virginia's Virginia Challenge, where the Oilers faced a strong field of national-level competition.
Findlay turned in several strong performances throughout the day, including an event win, top-10 finishes, and personal bests across both the men's and women's programs.

Alex Mutchler (Sr.) won the pole vault with a clearance of 5.12m (16-9.5), surpassing the NCAA Provisional Standard of 4.87m.
-K.J. Upshaw (Sr.) placed 6th in the 200m with a season-best time of 21.79.

Tyler Thompson (Fr.) finished 7th in the 200m, crossing in 21.96.

Evan Kreais (So.) placed 11th in the high jump with a personal-best clearance of 1.96m (6-5).
