Track and Field Sends Select Athletes to Compete at Mount Union Classic

Alliance, Ohio- The University of Findlay track and field teams sent a select group of athletes to compete in the Mount Union Classic, hosted by the University of Mount Union. The two-day event concluded on Thursday, April 23.

Notable Results
Men

Brayden Cleveland (Fr.) – Placed third in the 3000m steeplechase, finishing in 10:13.55.
Billy Dennison (Fr.) – Finished fourth in the 1500m run with a time of 3:58.89.
Nathan Strahm (Fr.) – Took sixth in the 1500m run, clocking in at 4:00.27.
Joel Stirn (Fr.) – Recorded a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 7.02m.
Evan Kreais (So.) – Placed eighth in the high jump, clearing 1.90m.

Women

Lauren Sattler (So.) – Placed second in the 1500m run, finishing in 4:34.13.
Shae Berger (Fr.) – Finished eighth in the high jump with a mark of 1.52m.
Helen Unger (So.) – Took tenth in the javelin throw with a mark of 30.56m.

Findlay will be back in action Saturday, April 25 as they head to Hillsdale, Mich. for the Hillsdale Tune-Up.
