Lexington, Ky. - The University of Findlay volleyball team has earned the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award following the 2025-26 season. This is the Oilers' 21st consecutive year winning the award which is the third-longest streak in Division II. To earn the award, teams must maintain a year-long GPA of at least 3.3.

Along with qualifying for the Academic Award, Findlay earned even greater distinction as a Team Academic Honor Roll selection, finishing in the top 20% of GPAs in Division II. This is the third consecutive year earning that distinction.

"It comes as no surprise to see our sport have more than 1,400 teams earn the AVCA Team Academic Award again this season," said AVCA CEO Jaime Gordon. "We are grateful for the dedication of the coaches and players who make both classroom and on-court success the lifeblood of their programs."
