The University of Findlay volleyball team was defeated 3-1 (29-27, 16-25, 26-28, 21-25) by Hillsdale College on Sunday, October 2, in Hillsdale, Michigan. The Oilers fall to 5-10 overall with a 2-8 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Mackenzie Vorst and Danielle Taflinger had 16 and 14 kills against the Chargers. Jessica VonIns generated a staggering 44 assists in the contest.

Samantha Granger chipped in 12 digs while both Taflinger and Vorst accumulated three blocks.

The Oilers return to action on Saturday, October 8, when Findlay hosts Northwood University. The contest is slated for 5:30 p.m.
