The University of Findlay volleyball team fell 3-2 (29-31, 23-25, 25-22, 25-22, 9-15) against Ashland University on Saturday, September 10, at Ashland, Ohio. The loss brings the Oilers to a 3-4 record on the season.
The Oilers offense was led by Danielle Taflinger and Erin Thomasson with 18 and 16 kills, respectively.
Jessica VonIns generated 48 assists while teammate Jacqui Endre produced 21 digs. Both Mackenzie Vorst and VonIns had four blocks in the contest.
The University of Findlay volleyball team will return to action on Friday, September 16, when the Oilers host Tiffin University. The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) is scheduled to start at 7:30 pm.
