The University of Findlay women's soccer team defeated Cedarville University 1-0 in overtime on Tuesday, October 1 in Cedarville, Ohio. 

The Oilers game-winning goal occurred when senior Katie Burke scored on a header at the 90 minute mark.  Her goal was assisted by junior Danielle Hart. 

The Oilers dominated offensively with a 14-0 advantage in corner kicks.  The defense was also stout, limiting the Yellow Jackets to just five shots.   

Findlay goalkeeper Samantha Trimboli picked up the win in the process. 

The Oilers, who improve to 5-2-1 on the year, will face Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) foe Michigan Technological University on Friday, October 4 at DeHaven Field at 4 p.m.
