Oilers Cruise to 22-8 Win

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team captured a 22-8 win over Ursuline College on April 2 at Donnell Stadium to run their record to 3-5 on the year with a 1-0 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).

Junior Sarah Lankton led the way with a monster game. Lankton recorded six goals, seven ground balls, six draw controls, two caused turnovers and had one assist in the win.

Sophomore Kyra Bradley also had a great game with five goals while freshman Olivia Sherman had four goals and four ground balls.

Freshman Brooke Eicher made seven saves while freshman Rachel Heath made three.

The Oilers dominated the Arrows in the shot department as they held a 43-19 advantage. They also held a 24-15 advantage in picking up ground balls.

The Oilers will host Lake Erie College on Saturday at noon.
