The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team has advanced to the 2026 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Women's Lacrosse Championship for the seventh consecutive season and entered the tournament as the second seed.
The top six teams in the conference will vie for the 2026 Great Midwest Women's Lacrosse Championship, which began with a quarterfinal round on April 25. Two semifinal matchups will be contested on Thursday, April 30 with Ashland serving as the host. Winners will advance to Saturday's G-MAC championship final on May 2.

2026 Findlay Lacrosse Coaching Staff
At the conclusion of the regular season, the Oilers hold a 9-7 (.562) record with a 7-1 (.875) mark in conference play.
In conference play, the Oilers rank second, scoring 168 goals and only allowing 136 goals. They are averaging 10.50 goals per game and allowing 8.48 which ranks them second in the conference for goals allowed.
Junior Rebecca Chmiel leads the UF offense with a team high 40 goals and 11 assists. Chmiel also ranks tenth in the conference in goals per game averaging 2.50 and seventh in shots per game with 5.63.
Senior Brinlee Barry and Sophomore Kendra Stevens, both G-MAC All-Conference players last season, play key parts in the Oilers defense. Stevens ranks tenth in the conference averaging 2.69 ground balls per game. Over the course of the season, Stevens earned 43 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers, and 15 draw controls. Barry started all 16 games for the Oilers. She earned 28 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers.
In the net for the Oilers, sophomore Josie Owens and sophomore Caroline Weber split time with Weber starting all 16 games. The pair have allowed 136 goals and average 8.48 goals against per game. Individually, Owens tops the conference in goals against average (7.56) and save percentage (.505) while Weber ranks third with 9.68 goals against average and fourth in saves percentage with .418. Both average over 3.40 saves per game.
Head Coach Beth Hemminger, now in her second season, is looking to take Findlay to yet another G-MAC Tournament Final. The Oilers will be looking for their first conference title since 2019.
