The University of Findlay volleyball team defeated Walsh University 3-2 (25-21, 14-25, 19-25, 25-14, 15-9) today, October 21, in North Canton, Ohio. This will bring Findlay's season record to 20-4 and their conference record to 11-1.

Sophomore Shelby Kin led the Oilers in the win by hitting .560 and recording 16 kills. Junior Amanda Winner and sophomore Izzy Murphy both recorded 10 kills each while sophomore Molly Hammersmith and freshman Madison Moore each contributed nine.

Junior Hailee Olson recorded 50 assists for Findlay, as well as three aces, three kills, and three digs.

Junior Kara Scherger led the Oilers defensively with 31 digs, the third- best single match total in school history, while Winner recorded 11 digs and senior Megan Wendel added nine.

The Oilers will be back in action October 27 in Columbus, Ohio where they will face Ohio Dominican for the second time this season at 7:00pm.
