The University of Findlay volleyball team fell to Cedarville University 3-0 (25-22, 26-24, 25-23) on Sep. 29 in Cedarville, Ohio. The loss brings the Oilers' record to 13-3 on the season and 8-2 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

The Oilers and were led by junior Izzy Murphy who recorded 13 kills, while senior Amanda Winner and junior Shelby Kin both recorded 10 kills. Junior Molly Hammersmith also contributed eight kills, while sophomore Madison Moore added seven.

Senior Hailee Olson recorded 42 assists and 15 digs in the win.

Defensively, the team was led by senior Kara Scherger who received  20 digs against the Yellow Jackets, while sophomore Olivia Morrison recorded 10 digs

The Oilers will be back in action in for their next home matchup on Oct. 5, where they will face Trevecca Nazarene at 7:00pm.
