Findlay, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced its Athlete of the Week selections for the previous seven-day period and in women's tennis, University of Findlay freshman Anamarija Kovacevic took home the honor.

Kovacevic, a native of Belgrade, Serbia, has made a big impact on the Oilers team already this fall and put her talent on display last week in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional last week. In a field of 64 players, the freshman picked up win-after-win, earning herself a spot in the 'B' tournament finals, ultimately earning a runner-up finish. She also participated in the doubles tournament with sophomore Elina Ivanova. The duo reached the quarterfinals of that tournament.
