Canton, Ohio – The University of Findlay women's tennis team traveled to take on the Walsh University Cavaliers on Saturday, March 31 and came away with a 4-3 victory. The win improves the Oilers' record to 12-5 on the year and 3-1 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) play. 

After securing the doubles point, Findlay lost three of the first five singles matches to draw the score even at 3-3. At sixth-singles, senior Laiying Alvarado, returning from injury, dominated, defeating her opponent 6-2, 6-0 to clinch the conference victory for Findlay.
