Owensboro, Ky.- The University of Findlay men's tennis team is in Owensboro, Kentucky for the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Tournament. The Oilers, seeded second in the event, received a bye into the semifinals and began their tournament run on Friday, April 26. Going into the tournament the Oilers record was 12-7 overall and 7-1 in the conference, losing only their last regular season match which came against Tiffin. The Oilers took on the Walsh and picked up a 4-1 victory, earning a trip into the conference championship final.

The Oilers will be back in action tomorrow, Apr. 27 when they compete for the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship at 10am. The championship match will be against the top-seeded Tiffin Dragons, who defeated Hillsdale today by a score of 4-2.
This is the first time since the spring of 2022 that the Oilers will be playing in the G-MAC Championship match. In that contest two years ago, Findlay lost to Tiffin by a score of 4-3.
