Indianapolis, Ind.- On Friday, Nov. 21, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced the volleyball all-conference selections for the 2025 season. Five Oilers earned all-conference recognition, with seniors
Emma White,
Makenna Belcher, and
Lauren Foerster landing on the first team, while senior
Alana Pohlman and junior
Hannah Miller collected second team honors. White was also tabbed as the G-MAC Player of the Year.
Player of the Year: Emma White
Earning her fourth consecutive first team all-conference accolade, Emma White was named Great Midwest Player of the Year, the first setter in conference history to earn the honor.Â
White has started all 27 matches this season, appearing in 94 sets, and has firmly established herself as one of the nation's premier setters. She leads one of the most explosive and efficient offenses in Division II, with Findlay ranking sixth nationally in hitting percentage at .286 and sixth in kills per set at 14.75.
She has totaled 1,115 assists, the second most in the G-MAC and 14th in Division II, while averaging a conference-leading 11.86 assists per set, the third-highest mark in the nation. She also leads the conference in service aces with 48 and averages .51 per set to pace the league. Defensively, White adds steady production with 2.65 digs per set and 249 on the year.
This is just the second time an Oiler has earned Player of the Year honors, and the first since Journey Blevins claimed the award in 2022.
First Team All-Great Midwest
Joining White, senior Makenna Belcher collects her third first team all-conference honor and her first with the Orange and Black. As Findlay's top outside hitter, she has been a dynamic and reliable presence all season. Belcher has recorded 364 kills, averaging 3.87 per set, the second-highest mark in the conference. The Marengo, Ohio native is hitting .277 on the year and adds 2.43 digs per set to round out her all-around impact.
Senior right side Lauren Foerster earns her first career all-conference selection. The Salem, Wisconsin native returned from injury after sitting out last season and made an immediate impact on Findlay's offense. Foerster is averaging 3.14 kills per set while hitting an impressive .345 and has contributed 37 blocks this season.
Second Team All-Great Midwest
Alana Pohlman earns her third career all-conference selection, adding to two first team picks in 2022 and 2024. The Maria Stein Ohio native has appeared in 26 matches, making an impact both offensively and defensively. Pohlman, a senior middle hitter, has recorded 222 kills this season, averaging 2.55 per set with a .340 hitting percentage. Defensively, she leads the team with 58 blocks, averaging 0.67 per set.
Hannah Miller has proven to be a versatile force for the Oilers, earning her second All-Conference honor. This season, she was an outside hitter before recently stepping in as Findlay's starting libero. The junior, who earned all-conference as a defensive specialist, has tallied 282 digs, averaging 3.00 per set, and ranks fourth in the conference in service aces with 0.41 per set.
